Captain: The Vintage & Industrial TV Stand

Meet The Captain :  He’s very charming in a vintage, sleek, kinda modern , industrial way.

I love that this piece is really versatile. Right now he’s our entry table. He would a great buffet, or sofa table too. {with big wicker baskets on the shelf!!} Or just throw all those TV box contraptions down there.

This little guy used to serve as our TV stand, but was bright red with big silver knobs…..Since we now have a mounted TV, we decided to give him new life.

I’ve been searching for that perfect Peacock Blue kinda Turquoise but deep Turquoise, ya know. I found it at Lowes on the oops stand!! It was mixed in the metallic line of paints. I have no idea the exact color name,arrrr

The Deep Blue got paired with Dove White from Valspar {my favorite white white}

The hardware is super awesome. Made from Copper piping ! I brought home the metal and MM assembled everything.{he’s awesome like that}

We painted the CUSTOM made hardware in Oil Rubbed Bronze by Rust-O-leum . I honestly love their spray paint, it always “paints” better, has better coverage, and now most of their colors have primer included. We then sealed the hardware with polyurethane since they will be used a lot.

The little legs also were painted to match the hardware.

The drawers also got treated with paper lining found at Target

 in the dollar bins. Pretty sweet Moroccan tiled wrapping paper  in black and brown.
